Artist's Description

The photo for this painting was taken at a roundup in Montana where they were separating the cows and calves. This little fellow seemed to know what was going to happen. This piece was juried into the May Show 2008 at the Mansfield Art Center in Mansfield, Ohio.

Judy Fischer Walton

My purpose in life is to bring joy and healing to self and others by gaining and sharing knowledge of wholeness of body, mind and spirit. Thus, after retiring from nursing as a Psychiatric nurse, I returned to my art. I can truly say that I have more joy in my life. I constantly learn more by going to workshops and studying art books. I teach watercolor and oil and acrylic classes and hope this brings joy to my students. I truly think painting brings healing also as one of the benefits of painting is one loses oneself in the painting. There is also the comraderie of other artists.
